Overview
On May 23, 2024, BFKN Financial Institutions Group partner and Regulatory Section Leader John M. Geiringer hosted a Business Executives for National Security (BENS) meeting featuring Itai Biran, Consul for Political and Commercial Affairs at the Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest. The meeting included other highly experienced professionals in the national security arena, representing various organizations in the private and public sectors. Mr. Biran discussed Israel’s ongoing conflict with Hamas, prospects for peace in the Middle East, and the rise of antisemitism throughout the world. John is a member of the Chicago chapter of BENS and supports many of its local and nationwide initiatives.
