Overview
Barack Ferrazzano has added another strategic piece with the addition of Michael Educate as an associate in the Litigation Group. Michael has served both corporate and individual taxpayers in litigation in the US Tax Court and in federal district court. His practice has focused on reallocations under Section 482 of the Internal Revenue Code, debt-equity characterizations, and leasing transactions. Prior to joining Barack Ferrazzano, Michael was an associate with a global firm.

While attending the University of Chicago Law School, Michael served as Comments Editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law and received the Law School's 2014 Casper Platt Award.
