BFKN is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates to the firm. Jacob Aubrecht joins the Corporate & Securities Group, and Brian Ingram joins the Motor Vehicle Group.
Jacob focuses his practice on representing clients with respect to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He has experience drafting and reviewing various project, finance, and equity documents, including purchase and sale agreements, credit and note purchase agreements, collateral access agreements, security documents, and guaranty agreements. Prior to joining BFKN, Jacob was an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he advised public and private companies on real estate development, construction, financing, acquisition, divestment, debt offerings, leasing, restructurings, and REITs.

As an associate in BFKN’s Motor Vehicle Group, Brian helps motor vehicle manufacturers manage the sale and distribution of their products, including through counseling on franchise and dealer network matters, commercial relationships and regulatory concerns, and brand launches in the U.S. market. He also advises borrower and lender clients regarding corporate finance transactions. Prior to joining BFKN, Brian was an associate at McDermott Will & Emery, where he focused on corporate, private equity, finance, and renewable energy transactional matters, including advising clients on U.S. law components of cross-border transactions.
