Overview

Moët Hennessy, a global leader in luxury wines and spirits and a division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, has teamed up with Beyoncé Knowles-Carter to create SirDavis, a groundbreaking new whisky. This new brand, a tribute to Knowles-Carter’s family’s legacy, embodies a blend of tradition and innovation, crafted with the artistry and precision synonymous with Moët Hennessy.

SirDavis is named in honor of Davis Hogue, Knowles-Carter’s paternal great-grandfather, who was a farmer and a moonshiner in the American South during Prohibition. SirDavis promises to set a new standard in the whisky industry, offering a rich and complex flavor profile that is as dynamic and multifaceted as its creator. The whisky is crafted using a unique blend of the finest ingredients, aged to perfection, and presented in a bottle that reflects both luxury and heritage.

“I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,” says SirDavis Founder Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. “When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy. In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis.”
