BFKN Bankruptcy & Creditor Rights Group chair Nathan Q. Rugg recently co-authored a chapter in the IICLE Business Bankruptcy Practice 2022 Edition titled, Representing the Secured Creditor and Adequate Protection. Bankruptcy & Creditor Rights Group member Robert D. Nachman assisted greatly in the research and editing process. The chapter covers the numerous rights and remedies available to a secured creditor as part of the publication’s comprehensive guidance to business bankruptcies. The chapter discusses the many ways in which a secured creditor can exercise its rights to maximize influence over different constituencies and their competing interests.
