Overview
Clare concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, leveraging her extensive legal research and writing skills to guide clients through complex disputes across various industries.
Clare has experience handling all phases of litigation, including drafting motions, conducting legal research, managing discovery, and negotiating settlements. She has represented clients in contract disputes, employment matters, mass torts, and regulatory investigations. Clare also has experience working on matters involving cybersecurity, bankruptcy, and constitutional law.
Prior to joining BFKN, Clare served as a law clerk for U.S. Magistrate Judge Joseph S. Dueker in the Eastern District of Missouri, where she drafted judicial opinions and conducted research on Title VII claims, Section 1983 matters, and Second Amendment issues. Previously, she was a litigation associate at Jones Day, where she managed discovery, drafted motions, and advised clients on complex commercial disputes. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for U.S. District Judge Ann M. Donnelly in the Eastern District of New York.
