Overview
Mark works in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor and creditor rights, corporate restructurings, and intellectual property.
His experience includes support of matters involving debtors, secured creditors, creditors’ committees, trade creditors, indenture trustees, panel trustees, asset purchasers and other entities in reorganizations, workouts, and liquidations. He also concentrates on handling an array of intellectual property matters, including but not limited to, conducting preliminary screening searches, reviewing and analyzing full trade and service mark availability searches, preparing and filing trademark, service mark, and copyright applications in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions, enforcement matters, and drafting responses to official actions. Additionally, Mark has extensive experience in bankruptcy litigation support. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois (Chicago Circle) in 1985, and a Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University in 1986.
