Represented Sephora in J.C. Penney’s chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including pre-bankruptcy contract considerations, in issues related to J.C. Penney’s treatment of the Sephora’s “store in store” agreement covering 600 locations nationally, and payment of claims in full.

Serve as IP counsel managing the worldwide trademark portfolio of a multi-national jewelry retailer containing over 3,000 marks globally.

We worked closely with FMBI leadership to identify, analyze and resolve employment, benefits and compensation matters in connection with the merger.

Represented Dior in a proposed class-action lawsuit claiming violation of (BIPA) in the Northern District of Illinois. Secured motion to dismiss the complaint on the basis that Dior’s conduct falls within BIPA’s statutory “healthcare” exemption.
